
Kathie Lee Price, formerly Chrisman, was born in San Francisco on June 26, 1948 and On April 26, 2026, Kathie passed peacefully at home where she was surrounded with love by her husband Charles, daughter Alissa, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and all her animals.
Kathie spent her early years in San Francisco where she excelled in learning and playing piano. Kathie also spent her childhood and early adult years singing in the choir at her church, United Methodist Church in South San Francisco.
In 1979, Kathie and Charles paths crossed and eyes met at a Parents without Partners meeting, and began dating shortly after.
On March 17, 1984 Kathie tied the knot with the love of her life Charles where they spent the last 42 years happily married.
In her own words, in her teen years and early twenties, she was a crack shot.
Kathie had so many accomplishments in her lifetime. In her 30’s she was treasurer for her church, a business analyst with Dunn & Brad St. She also served as president of San Francisco Woman’s Division of PHCC. Kathie was the first woman who served two terms as California state president for PHCC.
She was a very active and well loved member in her HOA community. In 2013 Kathie became a member at large, also serving over 10 years as President, Vice President, and Treasurer. She was very well loved in her community. Kathie was a devout crafter, if there was a craft to be done she was the woman for the job. She also enjoyed making beautiful pieces of stained glass and metal yard art.
Kathie, with her husband, were part of Dodge Brothers of Sonora and spent time in her classic car with her husband, regularly seen at old car shows and parades. She was also known to be an avid camper and always organized.
Kathie is preceded in death by her mother Virginia Chrisman. She is survived by her husband Charles A. Price and daughter Alissa V. Glass.
Kathie will be remembered and loved as a devoted friend, sister, daughter, mother, and wife.
