Bill was such a hard worker and a good family man.  I met him when I was teaching at Indian Trail and had the pleasure of teaching his children.  They were well behaved and smart, a tribute to his parenting.  I also remember him working at Safeway during this time as his wife was ill.  These must have been difficult times but there was never a problem with the children at school.  He had a load but carried it well.
  Many years later I transferred to Hutton School.  Bill met Mikel and married her.  It was nice to catch up with him later and hear about his children.  He is the one who introduced my husband and me to red beans and rice!  We both were waiting for planes in the airport and he told us where to go In New Orleans.
  I always admired him for the things he accomplished. Rest in peace Bill. You have fought the good fight and finished the race.
