Toni, 75, passed away April 30, 2023 in Colville, WA.
She graduated from Grand Coulee high school.
She was a homemaker, amateur barrel racer; including rodeo secretary and timer
before being overtaken by Multiple Sclerosis.
Toni was a member of the Christian Cowboy Fellowship, and an honorary lifetime
member of the Washington Rodeo Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Schlecht and her daughter
Jamie Lee Schlecht.
Toni is survived by her daughter Corrie Jo Shoemaker (Schlecht); two grandsons
Sam Shoemaker and Stephen Shoemaker; great grandson Neko Shoemaker; her
sister Valerie Bushey (McGinnis) of Colville, WA., and brother Joe McGinnis of
Spokane, WA.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Toni’s Life in June. Details to follow.
