Tamara Louise Keene

Tamara L. Keene went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2025 at the age of 65 in Spokane, WA after a long battle with illness. Her faith in God never wavered. She was born and raised in the Spokane area with her five siblings. Tamara attended Trinity Catholic School and then North Central High School. There she met her future husband Barry Keene, graduating in 1978. After dating for 4 years, they married, June 16, 1979. They were married for 46 years. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two wonderful children, Cortney and Brandon.

They enjoyed boating, camping and activities with the children. Tamara most loved spending time with family and many lifelong friends. She was an avid crafter and loved doing art with her father, Gary Ochletree, stepmother, KB along with both of her children. She lived for antiquing. She made creative gifts and gave them to friends and family at Christmas. She worked at DAANorthwest Auto Auction in the front office and loved seeing the expressions on her coworkers' faces when she gave them handmade Christmas gifts.

Tamara was preceded in death by her mother, Colette Lyford, father, Gary Ochletree, stepmother, Karen (KB), and daughter, Cortney Keene.

She is survived by husband, Barry, son, Brandon (Katherine), Brothers, Randy (Debbie), Marty(Penny), Gary James, Craig and sister, Kerry Ann, and numerous family members and friends.

A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, receptionists at Multi-Care Deaconess and all the different doctors and staff at Multi-Care as well as the doctors and nurses at Kenwell Health for their loving care of Tamara.

A celebration of life is being planned for early June at the family home.
