I had the pleasure of being a classmate to Mitch at EWU, we were both in the Computer Science program and if I remember correctly the reason we actually started hanging out was because he and I were in a group studying for the big and scary Comp Sci exam that would determine if you would continue on in the program. From then we hung out a good handful of times in the library where we should have been studying for other things but instead we were talking about building computers, gaming, and goofing off. It was always nice to have him around. I remember seeing him while he was working at Best Buy a few times too back in the day. I am just so sad to hear that he passed. He was such a nice guy and brought the energy up in a room. My heart goes out to his family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Mitch and I had a love for fishing. We went out fishing often.

Before you were even really here, I was already telling everyone I was getting a little brother.
I wanted one so badly that in my heart you already existed - and then you did.

Mitch, you were the best little brother I could have ever been given.

I love you so much, and it hurts in ways I don’t have words for that you’re no longer here physically.
I miss hearing “Love you, Mambs.”
I miss your perfectly timed jokes making fun of me.
I miss your laughter booming through every room like it belonged to you.

Our lives will never be the same without you in them.
But you will always be my little brother, a part of me I’ll carry forever.

In the biggest moments of my life, Mitchell was at my side. He was always there, and I know he’ll always be with me in spirit.

Our boys trip to Arizona. We spent the nights chilling in the pool drinking beers. I’ll always be greatful we got to spend that time together.

No matter the size or type, we always celebrated the first fish. Mitchell was an amazing fisherman. Not because he caught a lot of fish, but he always knew how to stretch the truth just enough about the fish he caught.

There was no one else I would have walked/sat with at graduation. You were my best friend from the beginning so it only made sense we finished our time in public school together.

We had so much fun, and got into many shenanigans at Jiffy Lube. It was such an honor to work with my best friend for our first job.

8th grade knowledge bowl. Our answer to “What was the name of the Riders who alerted the Americans that the British Was coming” - The Justice League. We didn’t really know anything, we just joined knowledge bowl to hang out and get free pizza.

To the Fenton family — there is something truly rare and beautiful about the love you share. It’s evident in the way you show up for one another, the way you speak about each other, and the quiet strength that surrounds you even in the hardest moments.

Grief is heavy, but so is love — and the love in your family is powerful. It will carry you through the darkest days. It will be there in the memories you hold, in the stories you tell, in the laughter that eventually returns, and in the way you continue to care for one another so fiercely.

May you find comfort in that deep bond. May you lean on each other without hesitation. And may you always remember that the love you share for Mitchell is a lasting tribute — one that cannot be taken away.

As long as I've known Mitch, he talked about his love for Smosh and the connection they shared. I can't even count how many pictures he would show of her and it would always put a smile on not only his face but everyone he showed.

I am so heartbroken and at a loss for words. Mitchell, you were truly an amazing person. It was such a gift to know you and to share so many wonderful memories together. I will always fondly remember our sunrise hike—the laughter we shared and the pure joy on your face when you tried the flight simulator at the Flight Museum. We would often hangout at Natural 20, drink, laugh and make wonderful memories. We'd play Magic, D&D or sit and talk about anything from Anime to Video games and all the aspects of life, the good, the bad and the ugly but we always gave each other advice and support. Mitch was one of my best friends and I consider him like a brother. I will forever miss him and a piece of me will be gone without him. I hope you have found peace, I love you man.

I met Mitch in the summer of 2024 and needless to say he became one of my closest and best friends. Mitch could light up a room with a joke, a story or simply by being present, it was always a good time with him around. The one thing I will regret is not being able to hangout with him one more time, seeing his smile and hearing his laugh.  I love you brother and will miss you dearly.

Mitch was the closest thing I had to a best friend, and loosing him is a tragedy. Mitch was the kindest and most genuine person you could find, and you always knew he would be there if you needed him. From the late nights shooting shit at the bar to the early morning suffering through work, Mitch was always there. I hope you rest in peace buddy, we will all miss you.

It’s not often you meet someone like Mitch. Not only was he charming, funny, and the life of the party, but he truly had the best heart out of anyone. He cared so deeply about others, and if you had the honor of knowing him, you know there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his friends. He was truly one in a million. 

I am so thankful you got to be a part of my life, Mitch. Words can’t describe how much you will be missed, but I will be praying we can meet again some day.

Mitch, my brother, I can say with absolute certainty that I have not met someone as compassionate as you. There was no such thing as a stranger in your eyes. Only a friend you hadn’t met yet. That energy was obvious to everyone you met, somehow always brightening the mood wherever you went. You always wore your heart on your sleeve and always put others above yourself. I know that you and your grandma were close and how much it pained you to see her go. I can’t help but smile knowing that you are reunited with your best friend, probably laughing as you both flip the bird together. I will always cherish the memories we shared together. Whether it be enjoying some FrapFlap Gaming videos, laughing about some questionably made beer flags for the apartment or the endless laughs we shared throughout the day. I wasn’t given a brother at birth and I am so blessed that I was able to call you a roommate, friend, and brother. Rest easy pal, you will be missed more than words can articulate. The next Rainier is for you buddy.

There was not one person I knew who had a bigger heart than Mitch. If you had no friends, you knew you always had Mitch. He was one of the kindest, larger than life personalities I’ve ever known. Mitch, we will miss you more than you’ll ever know, but I pray you’re at peace. AEKDB, Brother.

Hearing that you left us really brought back all the memories we had together in college. I’m sorry we didn’t stay close after those years but I am so happy to have known you. Mitch had this amazing infectious personality that would make even the shyest person come out of their shell. He was smart, funny, and all around an amazing man. I will miss you brother. From becoming fraternity brothers for life to studying our butts off in the computer science program, I will always cherish our time together. Love you dude, hope you’re at peace.

Mitch buddy… this one hurts.

The news of his passing really stung. He was the kind of person whose smile lit up a room the second he walked in. You could always count on him to show up and be there for the big moments — and somehow make them even better just by being himself.

Mitch brought this infectious energy into every space he entered. I’d give anything to hear his big booming voice and see that giant smile come through the door again. He had a way of bringing people together and making everyone around him laugh and let go.

So many of my college memories are filled with moments with Mitch — and he was there through our years of attempting to adult too… getting married, buying a house, figuring life out one step at a time. That’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

Hearing about his loss is a rough one. Ian and I are holding his family close in our thoughts. This is not an easy loss at all.

4th of July. This was one for the books. I’ll treasure that PBR hat for the rest of my life.

The night I finally got to meet you after gaming with you for months. You and I grew up in the same neck of the woods and just happened to miss each other. I’m so glad you came into my life brother.

St.Patricks day and you were the only one who showed up. Prompted us to change our friend group chat to the “retirement home and 2 chads”
