Celebrating the life of Margery L. "Grandma" Wilson She passed at home with her family and dog by her side. She was survived by her husband, Harold Wilson, of almost 60 years. She was a long time resident of the Spokane area until about ten years ago when Marge and Harold became full-time travelers around the United States. Harold and Marge made friends where ever they went. They were always kidding around with each other and having fun together, which made everyone else around them have fun too. Marge was always baking up goodies (cookies, coffee cake, and pies) to give to whomever she came in contact with. She would always worry that her cooking was missing something or not good enough, but everyone always looked forward to her treats and never complained. She was always thinking of others before taking care of herself. She had a gift of making sure everyone always felt welcome and comfortable in her home. In her last days, instead of complaining, she worried over her husband getting a more comfortable chair and making sure that her daughter-in-law had a new coffee maker. She was always cooking up big family dinners. There was always room for whomever needed a place to go, family or not. She was full of God's love and was not afraid to show it to others. Her hope was for all of her family to have God in their heart as well. And even though she had numerous children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, whether related or not, everyone called her “Grandma.” God’s Garden God looked around his garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never, get well on this earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered, “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. Author unknown
