Margaret G. Benson (nee Gillies) was born in 1939, in Scotland. She relocated to the states around age 20 and lived in Connecticut for many years before moving to the west coast to be closer to her sister, Sandra.
Margaret belonged to Red Hat Ladies of Liberty Lake, WA. She leaves behind daughter Kristen Thorpe in Connecticut, sister Sandra and family in Spokane, and Joyce (Brian) Cruikshank of Scotland.
Family is organizing a celebration of life for a later date.
