Age 70

Kenny passed away on August 15, 2018 with his family surrounding him. He was born to Mel and Doris Leyde on March 22, 1948 in Spokane, WA. He attended Mead High School and worked for the Great Northern/ BNSF Railroad for 32 years before he was injured and retired at age 50.

He married Linda Michels on September 2, 1967. This September they would have been married 51 years. They spent many years traveling the world together.

Kenny loved seeing friends and meeting new ones. But most of all he adored his children and grandchildren. His happiest times were when the family was together and the house was chaotic. His family was the light of his life.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Mel. He is survived by his wife Linda, his sons Chris (Jen) Leyde, Scott (Tracey) Leyde and his daughter Michelle Leyde, his mother Doris Bickler (Bill), sisters Marlene Schuyler and Tammi Thompson (Bill), his grandchildren Zack, Taylor, Britney, Coley, Katie, Jacob, Shea, Dane, Qwynn, Aydan, Kendall & Brooklynn, great grandchildren Ava, Emarsen and Mateo. He was anxiously awaiting 2 more great grandchildren who will be born in December.

Services will be held at Assumption Parish on Indian Trail Road. Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 23rd at 6:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Friday August 24th. Inurnment immediately following Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery. Reception held after at Fizzy Mulligans.
