He was born in Spokane, Washington on July 2nd, 1937. He attended Whitman Grade School and graduated from Rogers High School. After high school, he enrolled in the Washington Air National Guard, then he worked at Safeway for 33 years, mostly as a store manager.
Mike was an avid woodworker and loved making furniture. He also restored two houses.
He is survived by his wife, Patty of 67 years, three children, Mark, Kelly, and Ann, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was loved by his whole family, and is greatly missed.
