Iris Jeannie Ritchie Chiaro

Born: October 17, 1939, Santa Rosa, California Departed this life: Mother’s Day, May 14, 2023.

Jeannie grew up and lived in: California, Montana, Utah. Following her marriage in 1956 she lived in Utah, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Nevada, Florida and Washington state.

Jeannie was a beloved Sister, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She lived a full and lively life. She worked in the food & beverage industry, property management & provided childcare. Jeannie was generous, adventurous, a hard worker and always the life of the party. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her Siblings: Glady-Lisa, Jack, Ed (Kris), Kathy (Gary), Joan (Vic). Daughters: Heidi, Tina (Joey), 9 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by: Mom Iris, Dad Alec John, Stepmother Doris, Sons, Kenny & Joey as well as numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.

Her celebration of life service will be held on Saturday July 22, 2023, at The Salvation Army chapel, 222 East Indiana, Spokane, Washington at 1:00 PM. Refreshments to follow the service.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation, in honor of Jeannie's Son, Phillip Joseph (Joey) Salonia Chiaro.
