the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Harold Robert Kelly (Bob) was born to Harold Carter and Leona Cederquist April 10,
1943 in Centralia, Illinois. Bob graduated from Kearney High School in Nebraska in
1961 and just a few years later joined the Marine Corps from 1964-1968 where he
served in Vietnam. He completed his service as a sergeant E-5 with a Purple Heart.
Bob married Gladys Sanders in 1974 and together had a daughter, Jami.
He worked as an electrician for forty-five years and enjoyed many hobbies including
cycling, hiking, and photography. One of his many accomplishments was completing
Cycle Oregon three times. After retirement he always kept busy and stayed physically
active. Bob Loved the Lord and looked forward to attending Bible study in Springdale
every Tuesday where he met some very cherished friends. He brought joy to his family
and everyone he came to know. Bob passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of
80 in Spokane, WA where he lived for seven years with his loving family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Gladys Kelly and his daughter and her husband Jami
& Aaron Storer; his three grandchildren, Ethan Storer, Sydnie Kuhn, and Aden Storer
and great grandson August Kuhn; and his many nephews and nieces. As well his half
brothers Bill Carter, Mike Carter and Phil Carter, and half sisters Mary Kay Swinford and
Ruth Ann Young. He was preceded in death by his brother Dave (Rochelle) Kelly, and
his sister and her husband Connie & Bob Gappa. All of these he loved and touched
deeply.
