George Wardell Whatley

George Wardell Whatley, age 92, died peacefully October 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Montague Whatley age 92, Sons Mike Whatley, age 61, Tim Whatley, age 54, Daughter Lisa Bake, age 56, and Stepdaughter Susan Adams, age 69. Surviving: Daughters Angie Harriman of Concord, NC, Janet Devige of Sweeny, TX, Stepson Richard Montague of Spokane WA, Stepdaughters Patricia Bradley of Spokane, WA, Shara George of Tampa FL, and many, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. George was a long time resident of Eastern WA, living in Northport, Kettle Falls, Colville and Spokane. He and his wife also lived in Idaho a time or two. George was a Navy WWII Veteran, followed by an enlistment in the USMC. George was a proud father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by many.
