Washington on March 21, 1932 to LeRoy and Evelyn Seifert. She passed away peacefully on
February 15, 2023 in Spokane, Washington from complications of Dementia.
Dee loved her childhood growing up on a farm on the rimrock of Hayden Lake, Idaho with
her brother Loren Seifert and sister-of-her-heart, Darlene Cuff. She graduated from Rathdrum
High School in 1949.
With a zest for life and a fiercely independent spirit, Dee enjoyed a variety of jobs throughout
her life: dental hygienist, receptionist in medical offices, office manager at Playfair Race Track,
accountant/controller at Warner Center Racquet Club, California Bell Club, Bicycle Club, Hilton
Head Holdings, Sheraton Hotel, and Hospitality Associates. She had also greatly relished
owning and operating a jewelry store in downtown Spokane called Dee’s Designs, and a
restaurant called Let’s Eat Cafe in Edmonds, Washington. After retiring from professional life,
Dee enjoyed interacting with people while doing product sample demos in stores for the next
several years.
Dee’s passions in life were spending time with her family and pets, gardening, cooking,
reading, watching old westerns and ION police tv shows, as well as visiting with friends.
She loved and married Dennis Regan from 1950-1951, Karl Danner from 1953-1968, and
Russell Brown from 1972-1978.
Dee dearly loved her family and is survived by her children Jeff (and Brenda) Danner, Julie
(and Jeff) Tye, brother Loren Seifert, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her daughter Karla Keller Pierson, sister-in-law Alys Seifert, and
heart-sister Darlene Cuff Candee.
Dee will be inurned with her parents at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens in the near future.
