Donald Arthur Fuehr

Don Fuehr passed on May 1st 2025 at the Veteran’s Home in Spokane WA. He was 86 years old. He was born in Toledo, Washington. He grew up in Ellensburg, WA and graduated from Ellensburg High School. He worked for the Forest Service before joining the US Coast Guard at age 17. He spent 14 years in the service and later worked in the wholesale plumbing and pipe industry.

Don volunteered with kids at Future Business of America. He also was a member of the Kiwanis of Federal Way, WA. His favorite contributions were to bring cookies to the Kiwanis Action Club (kids with disabilities), and working a concession stand at Federal Way High School where the proceeds were given back to the community.

Don was preceded in death by his Mother Lola Fuehr, Father Arthur Fuehr, Sister Bette Johnson, and Sister Doris Eaton.

He is survived by his wife Ingrid Fuehr, Children: Curtis Fuehr (Kris) and Suzette Tracy (Ed). Grandchildren: Cassundra Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Maikan Fuehr, Elizabeth Tracy, Cyan Fuehr & Darby Fuehr. Sibling: Twin brother Duane Fuehr (Marianne).

Don was always doing things for other people and was loved. He will be missed! Services will be at a later date.
