David Graduated high school at Norco High, Norco California. He served in the Navy from February 1st 1980 - July 2nd 1985. He was preceded in death by Arthur Jay Shaw, his father, Steven Shaw, his brother, and Pauline Dodson his grandmother.
He is survived by Susan Tovar his sister, Rebecca Tovar his niece, Justin Tovar his nephew and his cousins, Robert and Laurie Ruis, Daniel and Beverly Ruis, Darryl Lima, Dana Lima, Julie, Shawna, Valkyrie, Tom and Jerry Simons.
