Cora Kathryn Schilling

Parkinson’s Disease on August 14, 2026. Kathy was born on November 11,1946 in

Spokane, WA to William Bays and Loretta Johnson. She graduated from Rogers High

School and later attended Beauty School. Kathy had a very strong admiration for

Mickey Mouse and enjoyed having lunches with the girls, wine tasting with friends. She

was an avid bowler where she became the President of the Local Spokane USBC from

2008-2014.

Kathy is survived by son Tom Jones and daughter Geri Jones, stepdaughter Lisa

Schilling and stepson Jeff Schilling, sister Wanda Riske and Joyce Pederson and

several nieces and nephews, 6 Grandchildren Keeshia, Tracy, Summer, Brett, Alecea

and Tristan and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 9:45am on

Friday, September 18,2026 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery 21702 W.
