

Alora was born to Lee and Mila Harris on February 16, 1929, in Cut Bank, Montana, and graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her parents, and six siblings.
Alora married Tom Sheridan on November 6, 1948, in Cut Bank, where they lived until Tom’s death in 2011. She later moved to be near her children and passed away in Spokane Valley, Washington, where her daughter Leslie lives. She is survived by her five children and their spouses: Greg Sheridan (Pam) of Sammamish, Washington; Marcia Toms heck (Cal) of Green Valley, Arizona; Leslie Nermyr (Jerry) of Spokane Valley, Washington; Jean Brakovec (Kevin) of Green Valley, Arizona; and Mary Jo Gunlikson (Reed) of Kalispell, Montana.
Alora was longtime employee of the Bank of Glacier County in Cut Bank, Montana until her retirement.
Alora loved sports and faithfully cheered for the Cut Bank Wolves, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Just as proudly, she supported every team her grandchildren and great-grandchildren played on, showing up in spirit and enthusiasm for each season and every game.
After retirement, Alora especially enjoyed golfing at the Cut Bank Golf Club, playing in women’s league, and golfing with Tom and their friends. She also enjoyed bridge and played whenever she could.
Alora will be cremated, and her ashes, along with Tom’s, will be interred at “The Best Last Place” Cemetery in Seeley Lake, Montana.
