Allison Elwood Webb

Born May 8, 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia to Eurnell Elwood and Winifred L Webb. Al passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2018 in Spokane, Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Joanne Becraft, and brothers Talmadge and Fred Webb. He is survived by wife Valerie Anderson-Webb, three step-children Chris, Danielle, and Jake. He was surrounded with many grand, and great-grandchildren that he loved and cared for. He is also survived by his son Wilson Webb of Spokane, his brother Steve Webb (Elaine) of Franklin, Virginia, a sister-in-law Sharon Webb, and a soon to be born grandson that will have "Al" as his middle name. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Buddy and Tanner, who went every place with Al.

After graduating from high school in 1966, Al joined the United States Air Force, and became a security guard canine handler. He proudly served during the Vietnam conflict, and gave 7 years at Fairchild Air Force base, until being honorably discharged in February of 1974.

Al then began a long career working in the Graphics Art department at Spokane Community College, having helped start the program. He spoke often of the golf games at lunch, and working with his peers. After that he spent a few years working in food service, a long time as a maintenance worker, and then his last few years as an interior and exterior painter for his long-time pal Ron.

Al met Valerie in 1998 while working at the Otis Hotel. They married on January 29, 2004 in Coeur d’Alene at the Hitching Post. Al loved to play golf, watch Seahawks games, spend time with family, and will be greatly missed many close friends and family.
