I have known Kathy since I was a little girl. Her dad was my grandmother’s brother, and he was my Godfather. I have many memories of Kathy, but my favorite was in 1999, taking my months old granddaughter to Detroit from Baltimore. I knew her face and smile the minute I saw her at the ticket counter in the airport, where she was working.  I wish, as we all do, that the miles were fewer and the opportunities greater to express our live’s connections and cherish our ties. The deepest

We were friends for a very long time. We met when you came to work at North Central Airlines in 1978, maybe 1977.  You were so friendly, kind and fun to be with. We began hanging out together, going out to dinner, going to the monthly airline parties given by other airlines and hoping to win travel passes. Of course I won’t ever forget the weekly disco dance lessons we took once a week for a month! We had the dance moves but we never made it to the disco clubs! Those were fun times. We had some really fun times during our 45 year friendship…and along the way I found the love of my life, and you found yours, Dave Morgan. You had a wonderful life together. He is broken hearted over losing you. Katalina, you were a true gift to Dave, myself, and all your other friends. You will never be forgotten. Rest in sweet peace Katalina. I can’t believe Kathy is gone!! We had so many fun times!! Trips to Hawaii, Grand Cayman and other fun places! Kathy was beautiful inside and out and was an incredible person! I will miss our friendship and texts because I haven’t lived there for 23 years. Im sure you’ll find some mischief to get into in Heaven… wonder if there are casinos and baseball games?? 1972 or 73 can never remember what year you started, I guess that’s 50 years . You were so much fun , gorgeous and we enjoyed so many good times together. Tiger games , casino, girls lunches , dinners will never be the same, you were a unique, wonderful woman.

We have compiled so many pictures of our dear friend, Kathy! She was so photogenic,  but she never liked many pictures of herself. 
This is my favorite,  it captures the very essence of her spirit,  this is before her wedding to Dave, she is just glowing with anticipation of a very happy life of love, humor and commitment! 

Kathy was my very dear friend...more like a sister.  She was the kindest person and occasionally she threw out a joke that astonished me.  We knew each other for 48 years and never once liked the hair style we would get at the hairdresser. Her Mom told us we were crazy...and we probably were! I miss her terribly...there will never be anyone like her.  My heart breaks for you Dave. 💔

Kathy was the Love of my Life, and my best friend... 30 wonderful years together.... I miss her so so much.... My heart is broken.....  She is in Paradise, with our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST... This gives me peace and comfort. I will always Love You Kathleen...   Dave

Kathy was always a source of cheer and fun. We shared care of her mother-in-law and I always learned from her endless patience.  I know she's a guardian angel now, likely for more than just one of us.
