William Thomas Gavin

In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, Bill was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam war. He was also a retiree of IBEW Local 58. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and watching sports, particularly the Red Wings and Tigers.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Garrett and Amy; grandchildren, Casey and Jonah; sisters, Colleen and Lorrie; and ex-wife, Linda, who he remained friends with. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; stepfather, Merle (Goheen); and sisters, Patty and Maureen.

Bill will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. A service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
