Robert Montfils

Robert Edward Montfils, 89, of Brighton, Michigan, passed away on March 24, 2019. He was born to Edward and Henrietta Montfils on November 19, 1929. Beloved husband of the late Lois Irene, who passed away in 1988. Loving brother of Hazel Thomas. He was the loving uncle to seven, great uncle of sixteen and great-great uncle to 17. His younger sister, Lois Marie, passed away in 2015.

He went to school at Shrine of the Little Flower then went to high school at Catholic Central. After graduating from high school he spent four years in the Navy. For 40 years he made his living fixing computers that were as big as his house. He lived in San Francisco with his wife Lois for 25 years before she passed away in 1988. He moved back to Michigan in 1989. His retirement was spending time with the family, gardening, using his computer and taking care of his pet dog. He was quiet, kind and the best uncle ever! We will miss him!
