Niki Moore, 70, of Livonia, passed away on July 7, 2023, at Marywood Nursing Care Center. The daughter of John Kastran and Ida (Dolly) Daian, she was born on June 19, 1953, in Detroit, MI. On July 22, 1973, she married Philip Moore, which made this their 50th wedding anniversary year.
Niki worked several years as a Chef for Agape Christian Worship Center and as an After School Program Leader for Agape Christian Academy. She was known for her Greek salad with homemade dressing, which she catered locally under “Niki’s Kitchen”. Niki also loved to host parties and play cards/games with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Philip; her children, Alexis Newman (Alan) and Sylvia Kubicki (Edward); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Olivia, Luke, Alice, Logan, and Roland; and her sisters, Lydia Marin (Jim) and Diane McGowan (Calvin). She was a devoted mother and treasured her grandchildren.
Niki loved the Lord with all her heart. She spent her time worshiping Jesus and sharing the news of His Grace. A celebration of Niki’s life will be held on Saturday, August 26, at 2pm, at Merge Community Church: 3789 Venoy Rd. Wayne, MI 48184. We ask that you wear purple (or add it to your ensemble) to brighten the celebration with her favorite color.
