Mary Lou Procunier

Mary Lou Procunier, age 85, of Flint, passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2025. Born in Ann Arbor on April 14, 1940, she was the eldest daughter of Laverne and Norma Morgan. Mary Lou will be remembered for her kindness and the gentle strength she shared with everyone around her. Her faith as a Jehovah’s Witness was a guiding light throughout her life, shaping her values and the compassion she showed to others.

Mary Lou spent most of her working years as a school bus driver for some of the local school districts, then for Genesee Intermediate Schools where she retired in 2003 and then continued to work as a home health aide until 2018. She also spent decades baking and decorating beautiful cakes for friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Sister Ruth Ann Henry. She is survived by her brother—Danny—her five children—Diane, Tim, Jerry, David, and Beth—as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
