Marjorie Ann Vander Baan

Marjorie Ann VanderBaan peacefully joined her Lord and Savior on September 6th, 2023, in East Lansing, after a long illness. She was born on December 19th 1930 in Grand Rapids to Carlton and Eva French. She married Richard Tindall and, later in life, Arthur VanderBaan, both of whom preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her sister Dorothy Gray. She is survived by her children Debra (Gary) Szwejda, Sheryl (Doug) Bartolotti and Michael (Julia) Tindall, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and her brother, David French. She is also survived by five step children and their families from her second marriage, to whom she was very close.

Marge defined her life as a wife, mother, volunteer and Christian. She was a loving, caring woman and she was loved in return by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice, in memory of Marjorie.
