Malinda Welch

Malinda Welch of Manchester, Michigan passed away on or before August 4th at the age of 63. She was born on August 30th, 1959 in Traverse City, Michigan. Soon after her birth, her parents moved to Unadilla, Michigan where she grew up and lived for most of her life.

She worked for many years at the Common Grill, and for the last 17 years she had been working as a gardener. She was very proud of the gardens she tended.

Malinda was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Carol Welch (nee Sills); and her sister Laura Lynn Welch. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Hale (Tom Higgs); grandson Kaiden Corwin; her brother Gordon Welch; as well as a nephew, Nicholas Preston; two nieces, Leslie Banner (Matt) and Valeria Bowers-Erskine (Chris); and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her life at the Unadilla Township Community Park on August 19th, 2023 from 2-4pm.
