Jon R Lebsack

Jon was born on December 7, 1942, to Reuben and Alvina Lebsack in Lincoln, Nebraska. At a young age, his family relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he grew up alongside his two older sisters. On August 3, 1963, Jon married Cheryl Lynn Andrews and they went on to raise three children.

As a teenager, Jon was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He went on to serve as an elder in congregations in Indiana and Michigan. Jon supported his family and his ministry by working as a computer programmer, as well as taking on a variety of other trades.

Loving husband, father, grandpa, and faithful servant of Jehovah. Jon is survived by the love of his life, Cheryl; their children, Lori (Jimmy) Walker, Jason (Jody) Lebsack, Ashlee (Lorenzo) Roberts; their grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Bagnall, Joshua Barton, Ava Roberts, and Alexa Roberts; his sisters, Maryann Jackson and Virginia Perkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and spiritual family.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6420 Tuttle Hill Rd, Ypsilanti, Michigan, on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 2:00pm. A virtual option will also be made available via Zoom.
