Bud was born on April 23rd, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to Herbert A. Steffens and Irene Steffens.
He served in the Army as a Military Policeman, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era.
Bud was a pipefitter at Rouge Steel. He retired after 37 years of devoted service.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and the Detroit Tigers and was a dedicated Detroit Lions fan, lifetime season ticket holder, and tailgater.
He is survived by his children, Erika Sierzputowski (Matt), Scott Steffens, and Amy Grant (Mike); grandchildren, Alyssa, Hunter, Mikayla, Isabela, Victoria, Michael, and Jaxon.
Respecting Bud's wishes, cremation has occurred, and no services will be held.
He was loved by many and will be missed deeply.
