Harold Ross Ginter III

Harold “Ross” Ginter III age 78 of Mason, MI, left us peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday May 29, 2026. He was born on March 3, 1948 in Lansing, MI. He was the youngest son of Harold R and Norma M (Gilbert) Ginter Jr. He was a graduate of Mason High School in the class of 1967. He married Waynette Marie (Crowley) Ginter on September 5, 1970, together they were happily married for 53 years.

Ross is survived by his children John Ginter and Shelly Williams, his grandchildren Olivia Williams, Mackenzie Ginter, and Elizabeth Williams, his cousins Gloria Green, Carol Moulton, Steve Gilbert, Budd Gilbert, Robyn Rossow, and Terri Flemming. He is preceded in death by his wife Waynette Marie (Crowley) Ginter, his parents Harold R and Norma M (Gilbert) Ginter, his siblings Gilbert R Ginter and Julie A Ginter, his aunt Georgia Gilbert, and his cousin John Gilbert.

Ross served in the U.S. Army 4th infantry division from 1968-1970, he then worked at Wyeth Laboratories and Young Brothers & Daley as a semi- truck driver for a combined total of over 35 years. Ross was a proud Army Veteran who found immense joy in life’s simple pleasures such as spending time up north or getting breakfast with his fellow Veterans. He loved his family more than anything and supported them in whatever way he was able. Ross will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
