Gerry was a welder by trade during which he had the privilege to weld the Michigan Princess Riverboat. In the summer you could find Gerrry at the Mid Michigan Motorplex Drag Strip in Stanton. He enjoyed racing the ¼ mile but in the last few years he yearned to go faster, so started racing the ⅛ mile and upgraded his horsepower. Gerry also loved to spend time at his northern property. Gerry was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed hunting season with his son and grandsons where many stories were told and lots of card playing took place. Gerry is a Moose Lodge 2291 member and past President. Gerry’s family was most important to him, from watching his children grow into parents themselves, and watching his grandchildren grow. You could find Gerry on the sidelines cheering everyone on!
