Gerald Leroy Richards

Gerald Leroy Richards was born on August 7th, 1945 to Lavon Suman and Royal Richards in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He proudly worked for the city of Milan for 25 years. Jerry loved bingo, the casino, and fishing. “I know some people who play 100 (bingo) cards at once. If only I could handle 100 fishing poles at once, my fishing might improve, too” Jerry said when interviewed about his retirement. He passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2023 just days after celebrating his 78th birthday. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Richards, his siblings Royal “Butch” Richards, Leo Richards, Eugene Richards, Carolyn Richards, and Danny Richards, his kids Teresa Richards, James Richards, Donald Bolen, Thomas Bolen, Ronald Bolen, Carrie Yoakum, and Jonathan Bolen and was blessed with many grandkids and great grandkids. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.
