Although I have personally known Flo since 1978 my maternal side had known her family going back 90 years. I had known her 1st cousin Trudy Wallmark D'Arcy through my family connections, the Paul Weaver Choral, and @ Glad Tidings in SF. Trudy's brother, Leonard was one of professors  @ Simpson College when it was located in SF. He passed away earlier this year. 
Flo's mother, Isabell and my grandmother, Betty Lassegues (née Betts) were close friends. In fact Isabell celebrated her wedding shower @ my great grandparent's (Frank and Bella Betts) house where she reeled in her betroth, Gus with a fishing rod. Her uncle, Sigrid Wallmark attended GTBI with my great grandfather and great uncle, Pierre and Emil Lassegues. My grandmother borrowed Flo's aunt Elna's wedding veil when she married my grandfather, Joe Lassegues. Her father, Gus, and my great aunt Anne Dickow were both born in April of 1908. Flo attended Jefferson High School in Daly City where my grandfather, Joe taught. When she and Warren moved to Michigan they moved near Lake Orion where my cousins' Linda (née Dickow) and Doug Thompson plus Linda's mother, Barbara Dickow live.

I recall the first time Flo entered my life - as the bride-to-be of my godfather, Warren Boley. I was just a child but even at that young age I could see the bright light of her soul shining through. She was a sweet, joyful, generous lover of God who cared for her friends and family with deep love and commitment. If there is a verse that I would attach to Flo it is this: The joy of the Lord is my strength  and this is how she lived...with joy. I loved Flo and will miss her. Sending prayers of comfort and consolation to Warren,Michelle, Scott, and all the family members who are grieving the loss of a beautiful wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. Although she will be missed beyond measure, she now walks in freedom from pain in the presence of Jesus. I'm so grateful that God shared dear Flo with all of us who were touched by her life. She was an extraordinary blessing.❤

Flo was a treasure, and we treasure memories of her in San Francisco where we were members of the same church, Bethel Christian. Warren and family, you have our deepest sympathy. Also rejoicing with you that now she knows the full joy of Jesus!    Judy and Gaylord Gartman, Sturgeon Bay WI

Little Flo, you have a heart as big as it gets.  We miss you already!  You always made me laugh when we would talk on the phone, lifting my spirits.  My movie buddy, so happy you are now pain free and spending time and laughing with Jesus.
