Dale Roderick McLeod

Dale graduated from Mackenzie high school in 1953. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Dale retired from AT&T after 33 years of service. He was involved in the VFW, Elks, and attended Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

In his spare time Dale loved his classic cars, especially the 1957 Chevy he rebuilt from parts.

He was a member of El-Ba-Mar boat club where he kept his boat "Scotty's Dream".But we can't forget his favorite sport GOLF!

Dale is survived by his wife of almost 69 years Sandra, his children, Tammy Scheid and her husband Tom, Tracy McLeod-Lehnert and her husband Steve. Grandchildren, Lindsay Scheid, Matthew Scheid and his wife Kari, Adam Lehnert and lan Lehnert. Great-grandchildren, Lucas and Alaina Scheid. Sister Sally Lowry and many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service that will take place at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 14722 Morris Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101 on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM. A lunch will follow the service in the church hall. RSVP would be greatly appreciated, text or call 734-287-2706. Memorial contribution may be made in his honor to Christ Our Redeemer Church.

Dale was loved by many and will be missed greatly.
