Casey Warren Lienhart, age 39, of Lansing, passed away on June 3, 2024, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He is the son of Mikel Lienhart and Pauline (Phillips) Heniser. He was born on August 27, 1984 in Lansing. Casey worked at Maximus as a customer service representative for the last 5 years. He found his life’s purpose when he became a dad to Sophie and in her words was her “protector”. He loved her deeply and was a doting dad. He lived his life with grace and compassion. He was loved by and loved many; including people who had wronged him. He was a quiet and private person with struggles that were unknown by many which continue to teach us in lessons even in his passing.
He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Thomas Heniser, Sr and sister, Monica Morley.
Surviving is his daughter, Sophie Rose Lienhart. Parents, Mikel and Bethany Lienhart, and Pauline Heniser. Siblings, Pauline Lienhart, Franklin Lienhart, Jim (Stephanie) Parsons, Jr., Tom (Martha) Heniser, Jr., Shelby Morley (Paul Lott), Jason Parsons, and Trisha (Paul) Donahue. Honorary brother, Alex Cummings. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and others.
Casey’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation through Gift of Life Michigan.
A Celebration of Life will be held later at a date to be determined.
