Back when I was in the Channel5Gaming community, Xaphor was always very kind and a passionate Planet Coaster player. I'm very sorry for your loss. May God's peace be with you. May He bring you comfort as I know holidays can be a rough time after having lost a family member. My prayers go out to you. I will keep you in my prayers.

I had to come here on Easter and share that even now, his memory and work lives on. He helped so many and I hope people remember that. Never let the memory fade.

I might have left the planet coaster community because of the lack of inspiration and the way my life was going. But remembering the times I spend here, I can only talk positive about  Xaphor (that was how I knew him), both as a creator and a person. It really hurts me to see a person like that leave us way too soon. May his soul rest in peace and his creations and memories bring us joy to think of who he was.

I know Steven as Xaphor, but i don't think the name is important.  I Assisted along side him on an online community for Planet Coaster for years.  He was a leader, an inspiration and a friend, and he expected nothing for it.  Light hearted, sincere and compassionate. He is arguably the most creative member in our little community, both in practice and in spirit.   I don't want to miss him, I want to Love and remember him for the amazing person he was, not just to me, but  to the thousands of people in our community from all over the world, literally.   Love you Man and rest easy.  The community has rallied in your name and its beautiful.....and deserved ten fold.

Thank you for all you gave to the Planet Coaster Community. your creations were amazing and we will remember you every time we use or ride them. I lurked more than I chatted but you were one of the gurus who would actually respond to questions and one of the first to friend me. Being an older gamer the technology sometimes would be over my head and you readily explained a few tricks. Amazing how people who never met or talked in real life can care through a game. Thank you for being one of the good humans.

Steven, an online compagnion with a great heart. Always there to help with any request from anyone who asked. 

Steven helped me plan my California trip earlier this year. "Have you got some tips?" Turned into pages full of tips and tricks. Steven was always happy to help! It turned into an amazing adventure thanks to you!

I didnt know Steven, or as I know him, Xaphor, very good. I didnt have Contact with him often either. But the few times we chatted, he was one of the kindest, most supportive people I've ever met, not only on the internet. And with a great sense of humor. My condolences to Steven's family & all his Friends.

Steven Roper AKA Xaphor. The most incredible man to walk into my life. What started from a simple Ride Spotlight submission for a Youtube Video 7 years ago. Unfolded into one of the best friendships a person could ever ask for. 

The Channel5 Gaming community grew quickly and too large for me to handle. And Xaphor offered his technical expertise to me. He became our server mod, and community care taker. He became our community Grandfather, and it’s because of him we were able to immortalize so many people into the community Hall of Fame forever. 

He took care of the server, organized our community events and contests, and most importantly took care of us people. What most people don’t know is that he also took care of me. He held me together not long after losing my mother to cancer. He picked me up when I was down. He offered me solutions when I felt trapped. And most importantly, he spent his own time with me creating quality moments in a 7 year friendship. 

Just weeks before he passed away we we’re speaking about friendships. I’m glad I was able to tell him how much he really meant to me, not knowing he would soon pass... I told him that I don’t know what I would do without him. He chuckled in his stoic way, and said to me “You will manage just fine without me”. Then proceeded to tell me that I started this community without him, and he was happy to have just been involved. As it gave him great Joy in his life. 

It’s rare that you get to have such deep friendships like this, and rarer speak of how meaningful they are right before that person passes. 
It just breaks my heart knowing i’ll never see his little avatar pop up in my DM’s on a weekly basis. And I wish I could just hear him say “Howdy” one last time..

You changed my life and enabled me to change the lives of thousands of people in this community we built together. And I can speak for everyone when I say that you will FOREVER be in our memories and hearts.

I may not have known this dude in real life but, Xaphor gave me some really good ideas for my giant park when I watched videos with Johnny. I made some easter eggs in my park and was really hoping to have him take a look at it but in a video on YouTube so he would have a chance to look at my biggest creation since I've started playing Planet Coaster. Hopefully he'll be able to watch the video up in heaven with my Grandma and aunt who also passed away in 2020. R.I.P. Xaphor, Fly high my friend... I'm deeply sorry for your loss, I spoke with him a few times for planet coaster advice and talking about old Disney films. Generally seemed a nice gentleman 

Alongside hundreds of other people, I was very privileged to have known him as Xaphor in an online Planet Coaster community. From the very beginning over 6 years ago, he was an extraordinarily talented, passionate and loyal friend to all of us, inspiring so many people throughout the years with his magnificent coaster and ride designs, his selflessness towards the community by making everyone feel welcome no matter who they are, his incredible contributions as a lead administrator in the community, and not to mention his absolutely brilliant sense of humour! Condolences to all of Steven's closest friends and family.

I met Steven through CH5 Community and he was one of the first persons to meet up with me and play games. Over the years we got to talk more, game more, and we have always had lots of laughter. He always brought the best out of you even if you didn't feel good, but he was always there to put you back into a positive mood. I will miss you Steven!

I am one of the hundreds, if not thousands, of the members of the Channel 5 community who have been personally affected by Steven (aka Xaphor). It has been a darker place since your absence and recently we learned that those lights will not turn back on again. But the community will always remember that you've impacted many people across the world, fostering their sense of curiosity and joy, and even helped guide those individuals into passionate careers. That's quite the legacy.

I didn't know Steven much at all, I don't think I got more than one conversation  in with him. But what I do know is that I am deeply sorry for your loss, and that I will always remember Steven and his online name, Xaphor. We knew each other only through an online community that shared the same passion. And that not even that long. Never met irl but when we talked it always felt as if on the other side would be a good friend. Don’t know how many hours we wasted on LA and how much advice you gave me. Btw you were right. I was close. Just got purple. ;)

I am shocked after hearing this devastating news. 
I'm sad for your family and loved ones and everyone you touched in your life.  
I knew you as xaphor in a community where we worked together for a few years.  You were kind, caring, down-to-earth, funny, and a fun person to talk to, play games with, or just listen to music with.  Your artworks will live on and provide inspiration to many people for years to come.  I am happy to have known you.

It is strange how the loss of someone you never met can have such an impact. We spoke almost every single day and I will miss that. Your sarcasm and humour was legendary. You have left a gigantic hole in the C5 community that will never be filled and have touched thousands of people with your creations. I hope wherever you are its riding the best coaster of your life!

My condolences to Steven's family & all who knew him. I knew him as Xaphor. First, by seeing his amazing rollercoaster creations featured on C5G and then by getting to know him when I joined the Channel5 community. If I was hanging out in the music channel vibing as I worked on a project, he would usually join me and I always enjoyed listening to his music & chatting with him. He inspired me & I looked up to him and what he created.  He will be missed.

I did not know much about his private life, nor did I ever meet him in person. When I texted him in chat, he always appeared kind, supportive, humourous and helpful.

Thanks for being a huge part of shaping our incredible, loving, creative, and supportive community into what it is today. Your efforts and commitment towards the community will always be deeply apreciated. 

Xaphor! You left us way to early. Thank you for all our fun chats and all the amazing inspiration you have givin to all of us! I never forget us getting stuck on the drop tower at Six Flags! I only knew him as Xaphor, and he was, for years, the heart soul and glue of our little online community. I will deeply miss him, his humor, his sarcastic and always on point comments and his amazing amazing kindness. Thank you so much. Rest with the best of them dear.

While I did not know Steven personally, he was an amazing man who brought joy to many people within the Channel5Gaming community. He was the guy who inspired me to reach for my goals and never give up. To create something that I was passionate about. He will be missed by many. 

Steven, or Xaphor as a lot of us know him by, was a great person! He will be missed in the community and our love goes out to his loved ones. 

My deepest condolences to the family and friends. I knew Steven by his Discord name of Xaphor. He was a wonderful person and so very intelligent. His humor will be missed by the entire Channel5Gaming community. He really will be missed. He left an impression on everyone that he met online. Steven was also one of the most levelheaded people I have ever dealt with. He always weighed the pros and cons of every situation he was involved in. His parent reared a fine young man. 

Steven , you had a great dry sense of humour,will remember your last vist to us and our visits to you sitting on the patio all hours just talking .
And not forgetting our trips to Disney land ,will be remembered.xx
