Shirley Joan Fountain

Shirley Joan Laramie was born on July 16, 1930 to her parents Austin and Myfanwy Laramie in Utica New York; Shirley passed away on December 5, 2017 in Glendale, California at the Glendale Adventist Hospital with her children by her side, she was 87. Shirley moved to California with her parents around 1953 and shortly after moving to California, she got married and went on to have six children. Shirley resided in West Covina, California most of her life and this is where she raised her six children. She was mostly a homemaker, she loved to cook, she loved her family and she loved bringing her family and friends together. Later on in her life, she moved on to Burbank, California to be closer to her daughters and her grandchildren. Shirley’s parents, Austin and Myfanwy Laramie and her brother Austin Laramie preceded her in death. Shirley is survived by her brother Martin Laramie and her six children, Timothy, Michael, Mathew Bitetti, his partner Chris, Mark Bitetti and his wife Patricia, Terri Hazard, Gloria Aranita and her husband Jon, and her five grandchildren, Brett and Brooke Hazard, Jaymee Aranita, Natalie and Bryce Bitetti. Shirley’s memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2 pm at the following location: St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church 2563 Foothill Blvd. La Crescenta, CA 91214 A reception will immediately follow – details provided at the church.
