She was the daughter of Aida Tillette and James T Rose Sr. she was raised in Manhattan, New York untl the age of 6 and then moved to Los Angeles, California with her mother snd siblings. Heya was adaptable and had good listening skills which she would use to her advantage when it came to family life. She grew up with Four Siblings. James T Rose, Villicia E. Rose Brooks, Emery Howard Jr. and Eugene C Howard. She rarely shied away from family discussions.
