Paige Louise Smith passed away at home unexpectedly in December following a medical incident.
Born and raised in Franklin, Pennsylvania, Paige Louise was the beloved daughter of George A. Smith and Paige B. Smith, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her brothers Emerson L. “Lanny” Smith and Michael G. “Gary” (Nancy) Smith. Paige Louise is survived by her brother George S. (Patricia) Smith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends across the country, including Michelle Peretz of Arizona and Diane Chittenden of Florida.
After attending Clarion College, Paige Louise went on to pursue a successful career in advertising sales, which led her to Los Angeles. She was a trailblazer in the industry, mentoring countless individuals who went on to achieve long and prosperous careers at some of the most prominent advertising agencies.
Paige Louise had an unwavering love for her family. She took immense pride in the accomplishments and milestones of her loved ones, and was quick to share photos and stories. She cherished the technology that allowed her to remain connected with family and friends, watching soccer games online and enjoying UConn basketball with her brother, despite the miles between them.
Known for her sparkling eyes, radiant smile, and boundless generosity, Paige Louise had a passion for interior decorating and gardening. Her terrace was a bright and welcoming space, filled with plants she lovingly tended to. She dreamed of a life surrounded by turquoise waters, palm trees, and a sandy beach. She had a lifelong love for cats, often rescuing strays in need. However, it was when a rescue dog named Marbles entered her life that Paige Louise’s heart expanded further. Marbles and Paige truly rescued each other, offering unconditional love and comfort during a time when both needed it most. Paige Louise’s family and friends are deeply grateful to the volunteers at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, and to MaeDay Rescue, Marbles’s foster family, and his adoptive family for ensuring that Marbles’s next chapter will be filled with care and love.
