Leon Risemberg, son of Isidoro and Yaneta, born January 15, 1931 in Córdoba Argentina. Passed away on November 5, 2017. Leon is survived by his sons Richard, Erik and Adam Risemberg, daughter Erin Hudson, Brother Herman Risemberg as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Leon came to the United States from Argentina in 1955. He worked as a civil engineer for 40 years. He provided the structural engineering for all of the buildings in Century City. As one of the leading earthquake experts he was consulted on many large projects throughout Los Angeles. After retiring from engineering, Leon taught math and engineering at CSUN, Valley and Mission College. He was a concert pianist, champion swimmer, loved Elvis and disco, hot chocolate, Egg McMuffins, dulce de leche and empanadas. He looked forward to donuts with his friends every Saturday and visits from family. He loved to travel, cruising all over the world. He would spend time gardening, most proud of his zucchini, eggplant and tomatoes. He loved his Yorkie, Tyler as much as his own family.
