Very sad to hear about Greg’s passing. We met back in the early 90s and he was my diving hero. I spent many hours just hanging out in the shop in Burbank chatting he was a wealth of dive knowledge and had great stories. Lots of dive trips together to Catalina. We lost touch after the shop closed and only spoke a few times after.  Rest in peace Tash.

My heart goes out to all the family and friends. It is a great loss. Gregg was amazing. I knew him from working at champs sports bar in Burbank X commission point I think my fondest memory was when he came in with his son and told me he was going to be a grandpa!! He was so proud and so happy, he will be missed. 
    And all the years I’ve lived in Burbank. I’ve always gone to Western . he’s always taking care of me and my family and my friends he truly will be missed.

On a crisp autumn day, I embarked on a bittersweet day trip with my dad, the legendary Greg Tash, to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The air buzzed with a mix of excitement and nostalgia as we stepped into the aquatic wonderland.

As we navigated through the exhibits, Dad's eyes glinted with a familiar gleam, signaling the imminent dive into his vast reservoir of underwater stories. Each tank became a portal to his oceanic adventures, his animated tales transforming the static displays into living, breathing narratives. I hung onto his every word, absorbing the magic of the sea through his experiences.

Our journey took a fascinating turn at the jellyfish exhibit. Dad, the master storyteller, spun enchanting tales about these celestial beings. His eyes sparkled with delight as he shared fun facts, turning the graceful dance of tentacles into a mesmerizing ballet beneath the waves.

Amidst laughter and shared wonder, Dad became our guide through the corridors of marine marvels. His knowledge flowed effortlessly, a blend of entertainment and education that painted the aquarium with the hues of discovery.
