Hard to believe it's been  a year yesterday,  since I got the phone call of your passing. I missed when you stopped using fb we had some pretty good conversations from when u had visited.
I wonder what kind of trouble you and Kev are getting into. Miss you R.I.P.

I'm so saddened to learn of Glen's passing.  I never had the privilege of meeting him in person as our lives converged during those early days of dial up modem and AOL chatrooms.  He was one of the first people I met online and remained a dear friend for the next 27+ years.   He taught me some basics of internet navigation back then and a whole ton about living life to the fullest.  He was a bright star in my life, a friend and confidant.  Now that I know he's no longer with us, my world has dimmed.  Rest In Peace

To Glen's family. It is with great sadness that I learned today that Glen passed.  I am Claudia Spotts, Pres. Morongo Basin His. Soc. in Landers CA. Glen owned Newlin Landers’ Stinson. The town of Landers was named for Newlin and that is why Glen visited our museum in 2017 and 2019. Landers was a businessman from LA who lived at 632 Landers Lane since the 1970s. 
In 2008 we moved our non-profit museum from Yucca Valley to the Landers property after his wife, Vernette donated their house and property to us. The first time Glen visited he signed our guest book saying he owned Newlin’s plane. Months later I read his inscription and we began to correspond. Glen & Ita Medina flew to Yucca Valley airport in 2019. We spent the weekend talking, sharing photos and stories about the history of the plane and Newlin. Glen was a member of the museum.
Last month I tried to contact Glen about a fly-in and a BBQ at the historic Warren Family Well (dug in 1881) which is located directly across from the YV airport. We are devastated to lose a friend and member. I hope we can continue to share Newlin’s history with his family. Glen was just one really kind person.  And- he had the smarts to finagle and work on just about anything.

I'll never forget sitting on his roof for the Leonids in 1999 (maybe '98), November, Lake Hughes, and I'd shoot out the street light with a laser, and he was giddy at that.  He really saw the best in people - or, at least, me.

to all family members, coworkers, friends, and everyone whose lives coincided with Glen, my deepest sympathies.  he touched thousands and lived several lives.  i am so sorry.

Grandpa Joe 100 bday, the last time I saw you

The last time I saw you, grandpa Joe 100 bday 

Bonneville Speed Week 2005, very first run of the 966 race bike that would go on to set (and hold) 2 land speed records.

21 years ago, I started at Textron. You made this for me not long after and one of my most treasured friendships began. Many stories and adventures shared. You touched so many lives in so many different ways. There is a Grand Canyon sized hole in my heart now that you’re gone.
Praying for all your family and friends.
