David Charles Burbank

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on June 10, 1941 David Charles Burbank, son of Marie Margaret Tetzloff and Clarence A. Burbank, having suffered from heart disease for years passed away on April 21, 2025. The eldest of six children, he is survived by two sisters, Rita Phelps and Eileen Hansen.

He moved to Los Angeles in 1961 where he began working in films under the name Taylor Burbank.

If you were fortunate enough to truly know him, you would have discovered what a remarkable person he was. Beloved for his unique sense of humor, compassionate heart and generous nature, he will be deeply missed.

He was my best friend for 53 years. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful experiences we shared.

He enriched my life immeasurably.

Although his loss is enormous I’m thankful he is no longer in pain. Free from the cares of this troubled world we still inhabit, I pray his spirit is in a better place.
