Carlos F Brown

Carlos F. Brown, beloved brother, cousin, uncle, great-uncle and nephew, passed away on March 20, 2023 in Burbank, CA. He was a member of the Costume Designers Guild (locals 705 and 892). He worked on a number of movies and television series in various locales. He was the 1992 recipient of the “Ariel,” the top award for costume design presented by the Mexican Motion Picture Industry, for his work in the movie Like Water For Chocolate. He is preceded in death by an older sister and a younger brother. He is survived by two sisters and one brother who reside in Mexico and two brothers who live in Florida and Pennsylvania, respectively. He was a beloved uncle to fourteen nieces and nephews who reside in Mexico, Texas and Pennsylvania. He was the favorite great-uncle to three grand-nieces and three grand-nephews in Mexico, Texas and Pennsylvania.
