Memories of Monte:

She meant so much to me. In earlier days, we worked together - I was a confused young man, too smart for my own good. She took me under my wing, and always used to tell me when I needed guidance: "Listen to your Mother" (meaning herself). She always showed me kindness and consideration.

A few years ago, we reconnected after a long time, and I visited Monte and Poppy in San Rafael - we had a great visit, and shared our faith in the Lord.

The last thing she said to me was, "I love you, Jim", and I kissed her on the cheek at the end of our visit.

Monte was very special to me - I know she's with the Lord, and someday we will meet again.

I am so sorry to hear about Marlene. Linda and I so wanted to get out to California to see her. I have very fond Memories of Marlene. I'm sorry for your loss Ed and Ron. I'm Marlene's cousin Ken Johnson in Rapid City.
