Sarah Catherine Andrews

Sarah “Sally” Catherine Andrews, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Sally was born on July 27, 1954 to George and Nina Palmer in Bakersfield, CA. She later moved to San Luis Obispo, CA for school where she met the love of her life, Darrel Andrews. They were married on May 15, 1982. They spent 41 years together raising their three children and investing in those around them.

During Sally’s lifetime, music was a constant. She spent years instilling her love for music in youth through personal voice lessons and through countless musical productions at both her church and as a music teacher at North County Christian School. Many Sundays were spent on the worship team, singing to the glory of God.

When not involved with music, she loved spending time with family and friends, walking on the beach, working on crafts, and playing games. She was a wonderful host and welcomed everyone who came into her home. Sally left a legacy of love and care to everyone who knew her.

Sally was survived by her husband Darrel, son Kevin (Anna), daughter Emily (Andrew), grandson Skylar, daughter Christina, brother Bruce (Nancy) Palmer, sister Susan (Merl) Sperling, brother Brent Palmer, and loving family and friends.

She passed away, just how she lived her life, amidst worship, prayer, family, and friends. While we grieve her loss here on earth, we praise God that she is at peace, singing and dancing in Heaven.
