Patrick Francis Lenard

Patrick Francis Lenard, age 61, passed away peacefully on June 27th in Goleta. He was the middle child of Jan and Wanda (Lozano) Lenard born on September 11th 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Patrick was an excellent student attending school in Chicago and Milwaukee. He later moved to Santa Barbara, California and worked as a caregiver for Robert Young and others. Patrick returned to school at UCSB attending the counseling skills certificate program and was appointed for three years to the SB City Advisory board on alcohol and drug problems. Patrick was an enthusiastic student and teacher of Tai Chi Chih and martial arts since 1993. Patrick was preceded in death by his father Jan in 1997. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lozano; brother R.Bob Lenard (Rana) and family nephew Matthew( Ashley), daughter Kharma and niece Emily (Justin), sister Monica Lenard-Witczak (Jean-Jacques) family nephews Christopher and Karl. Funeral arrangements by Neptune Society SB where his ashes will be scattered at sea. A prolific writer and poet he writes: "So I dive in... faithfully knowing I will pass out the other side to a newer universe, a warmer world or at least that's what happens in the better movies". P.
