Nancy Ann Duimovich

Nancy Ann Duimovich, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 19, 1945, in Chicago, IL. At the age of 19 she eloped to Santa Barbara, CA, and married Doug. With just the change in their pockets, they built a life together with their many successful businesses. In 1974, with their 3 young children they moved to Camarillo, CA to raise their family. Camarillo was her home, where she was blessed with wonderful neighbors and numerous friends she met along the way.

Nancy was a fun, loving mom who enjoyed being with her family. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandma. She loved them so much and had a special bond with each of them.

Nancy, affectionately known as “Grandma” by many will forever be remembered for her compassionate heart, kindness, and generosity. She had a quick wit & bubbly personality that brightened any room she walked into. She loved animals and couldn’t say no to a furry pet that needed a loving home and that is evident by the “zoo” she leaves behind. She was a member of the American Legion where she truly enjoyed spending time with her many friends that became like an extended family to her.

The beautiful memories, lessons she taught us, and her enthusiastic and fun-loving personality will be a treasured gift for all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Doug, son Brian, parents Emil & Anna, and brother Jim.

She leaves behind to carry on her beautiful memories, her daughter Cheryl Imrie & Karen Duimovich, and 6 grandchildren who were the love of her life, Brandi Salter (husband Cody), Brad Imrie, Blake, Alex, Aidan & Alaina Duimovich.
