Mary Elizabeth Nicewinter

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary Nicewinter, 83 years young. She passed away surrounded by loved ones, on April 12, 2023 after a long battle with chronic health conditions. Mary was born in Oregon, and resided in Santa Barbara for over 40 years. She is survived by her 3 children (Robert, Helen and Catherine), her 8 grandchildren (Crystal, Tausha, Gloria, Brittney, Joey, Gabriel, Gregory, and Niko), 9 great-grandchildren, and many other extended loved ones she considered her own. Those who knew her, knew her absolute LOVE for Bingo nights, card games and word puzzles. She was always willing to dominate a new opponent. We will miss how her eyes and smile would light up a room. Mary was a beautiful person inside and out. She cared so deeply for the people around her. Her generosity knew no bounds. She truly made an impact on many lives. Mary will be forever missed. We hope she watches over us from above, as she did in her many loving years of life.
