Dave James McLean

Dave James McLean July 30, 1940 - February 18, 2018

Preceded in death by his parents James Milbeck McLean and Gail Garnette Ollum, and sister Linda Peterson. Survived by his wife Azizi Feyzabi McLean and loving extended Persian family; siblings Sharon Fisk, Janet Martin and Don McLean; children Teri LaBelle (Dan Burro), Penny Mealhouse (Rick), Lynne Petersen (Scott), James “Bud” McLean, and KC Hammond (Rob). Dave was also Bapa to 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, all of whom he loved immensely.

Dave grew up in St Paul, MN, where he developed a love of homing pigeons and Labrador retrievers, which he trained for hunting. Dave had always been a hardworking man, entering the workforce at the railroad company, later starting his own construction company in East Bethel while operating a small hobby farm and working as a volunteer firefighter. He eventually moved to California to work for his lifelong friend Richard Stubstad, at Dynatest, where he worked for almost 30 years.

In his free time, Dave enjoyed putting together computers, tending to his fish tanks, and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. His extremely large heart and infectious smile will be missed by many.
