I remember as a little girl playing in the front yard.  I was playing with our neighbor Mark.  We were gardening in moms flower bed when suddenly Mark hit me on top of the head with the small gardening rake.  My head started to bleed profusely.  I screamed and  ran into the house.  When mom saw all that blood she screamed so dad got the keys and off to the hospital we went.  At the time, you were at Point Fermin, (Uncle Joes market).  You ran from there 37 blocks home to see me, your little sister, to make sure I was OK.  I never told you then, but you were my hero.  It has been a month since your passing and  luckily we found out by chance.  We missed the opportunity to love you, talk with you, and help you in anyway we could. At this point my heart is shattered, that you have gone and left me alone.  I delight in the comfort of our parents, and Rosie’s loving arms around you giving you all the love you have missed.  You have arrived, at last, in paradise.  I am thrilled that In a few short years I can join with you, our family will be together again.  So many things to catch up on.  You will always be my hero.

I’m so very sad to hear about my cousin John Paul  passing..We (the family) had no idea you were even sick much less passed away..Your aunt, your sister, cousin Ginny, cousin Fran, Myself, Cynthia and Cheryl are beyond devastated..You we’re so good to our dad..We all would of loved to visit or talk to you on the phone when you were sick..We would of supported you through this difficult time..You were one of the kindest and caring men I’ve ever known..We had a lot of cousins and we had so much fun when we all got together..Lots of great memories..I’m so glad we talked on the phone the last couple of years..You are just a gem and so special to me..Rest easy John Paul..Love you cousin Diana..
