Jackie Edward Jones

Jackie "Jack" E. Jones, born on January 28, 1934 in Springfield, Mo. passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025 in Lakewood, Ca at the age of 90. A longtime resident of Lakewood, Jack dedicated his life to service, retiring as a firefighter from the City of Downey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil A. Jones and Alpha O. Jones (Mead): his sisters, Shirley Carter and Sandy Bangs: and his beloved daughter, Susan L. Enloe (Jones).

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Sally L. Jones (Flournoy): his sons Martin E. Jones and Steven R Jones; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his dedicated service to the community, and the kindness he shared with those around him.

No formal services are planned, but the family will hold a private gathering to celebrate and remember Jack's life. His legacy of love
